Child and Animal avatar laws
CHILD AVATARS
BE WARNED DUE TO LL STRICTER TOS BLACKWATER HAS ADOPTED A FAFO LINE OF THOUGHT WITH CHILD AVATARS, YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN SECOND CHANCES HERE.
NO CHILD AVATAR OR AVATAR THAT ROLEPLAYS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN CAN PREFORM OR BE ANY FORM OF SUPERNATURAL ROLE ON THE SIM.
1) Children must roleplay accordingly, this means no "parent less" children roaming about if you do not have a family you are automatically under the custody of the church to which you will be placed in with a "foster family"
- Blackwater does not have an orphanage, it would be highly unlikely children would travel all this way alone especially those under 5, upon entering you can roleplay a NPC nanny or governess for 1 day before you are moved into a family setting.
2) Children are not permitted anywhere near the Brothel/Casino ever, Saloon during certain events (this will be posted prior) or the bathrooms anywhere.
- Should you be found in any one of these places you will not be given the chance to speak, you will simply know we know because you will no longer be on the sim.
3) Children are never to be undressed on the sim, this includes bathing, swimming or changing, this is to protect the sim from TOS violations, if you need to change, leave the sim do so and return (emote going to your room or something) - Exceptions to this are prim babies such as zoobies.
-ANY CHILD NOT WEARING A MODESTY LAYER IN BLACKWATER UNDER CLOTHING AT ALL TIMES WILL FIND THEMSELVES BANNED AS PER LL TOS UPDATED RULES.
4) Children are expected to flee from combat, if you stand around and get hurt when you should be hiding that is your own fault no one else's. There is no crying here.
5) Children can not be kidnapped or used in any hostile form of roleplay. That being said if a child strikes or hits you you may roleplay a punishment of a single spank or putting into a room. Children's actions have consequences too
- punishments can be removal from roleplay, clipping over the ear, or a single spank, the spanking must never be done with pants down or even role played as such, anyone role playing the removal of anything greater then a sweater or jacket from a child will be heavily questioned and possibly removed, nude spanking is permitted in Amiville, go there if you want to do that.
6) Children are to respect adults if they wish NOT to engage with them. This is personal preference of players and we will not force players to be involved.
7) Children may not carry guns (before the age of 12 and only to hunt) or dynamite.
8) Children are expected to speak as children IC WITHOUT using gestures, anyone caught using spam infant or toddler sounding gestures will be warned and or removed.
9) REMEMBER YOU ARE AN ADULT.- Children are to be role played only, this means in group chats or Instant messages you are an adult, you are expected to act like one and respond to players like one.
People throwing tantrums or abusing others in chat for not treating them as a child will be muted from all groups as a first warning then removed as a second, Act your age not your avatar size.
10) Houses with children per LL TOS is permitted to have adult furniture, that being said anything DIRECTLY PERTAINING to the child- such as but not limited too baths, beds, play equipment must NEVER be adult for our own peace of mind.
ANIMAL AVATARS
ANIMAL AVATARS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE SUPERNATRUAL, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SKIN WALKER AND DOG.
FAMILIARS ARE THE EXCEPTION AND THEY CAN ONLY HAVE A HIGHER BOND TO THEIR OWNER, NO OTHER ABILITIES.
ANIMAL AVATARS ARE RESTRICTED to those found in the region and era respective
ANIMAL AVATARS MUST BE REALISTIC we do not accept 40 foot high elks dancing in town.
ANIMAL AVATARS ARE EXPECTED TO ACT THE ROLE, While "Taming" can be a part of roleplay it is highly unlikely you would find a huge bear getting cuddles in town, research your chosen avatars habits and act accordingly, you will not find a horse just wandering loose through the town, if this is the case the law may impound you until collection.
ANIMALS IN COMBAT: Is permitted, however you must be hit first, that said If you deliberately run into combat to be engaged you are considered a hostile animal and become attack on sight in future experiences, consider the fact that most animals will run away from mass gunfire... not towards it. You also count as part of the ratio.
ANIMALS ARE EXPECTED TO BE INDEPENDENT, you have chosen your role do not complain if you adopt an owner and they are too busy for you or do not give you all the attention in the world, child like whining and complaining will not be tolerated.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO ROLEPLAY A FERAL ANIMAL, do so with the above combat laws in mind, understand the law may take action to protect the town against such animals wandering in.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO ROLEPLAY AN ANIMAL AND ATTACK WITHOUT WARNING for example come running into town and just start attacking, the law has the ability to put you to death, please remember this.

All rules above are subject to the discretion of Moderators and Administrators present on a case by case basis. If a staff member believes you are violating the spirit of these laws, if not the letter, with the intent to harm or offend other roleplayers, or gain unfair advantage, disciplinary action may be meted out accordingly.

Beyond that, don't be a jerk OOC, know that if you're an asshole IC no one's gonna like ya. If that's your cup of tea though, go for it! The world takes all types.
Mind the Ten Commandments and you'll be just fine. If ya don't, well the law be with ya shortly.
Murder is a hanging offense. Harassment will get you 'talked to' by the Padre, you'll be seein' Jesus shortly. Jail sentences can be long, some of them 'years', you filthy criminals may need to be rescued by your compadres, note the whole bein' an asshole IC, you gotta make sure someone wants you out of jail.
